Stay Active with Heartmoves
The Heartmoves exercise program is a low to moderate exercise program designed by the Heart Foundation and the Department of Health. Run by accredited exercise professionals, the classes are suitable for anyone who is not currently exercising or previously exercised.
The class is also a great place for people to make new friends and work with others to get moving, and have fun exercising at their own level within a small group. Heartmoves is open to everyone and is designed to be safe for people with stable long term health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or obesity.
The Heart Foundation’s Heartmoves name lets the public and health professional know that these exercise programs are low to moderate in intensity, have a specially trained and accredited leader, follow safety guidelines and encourage people to start slowly and work safely at their own pace
Mondays and Wednesdays: 2.15pm – 3.00pm
Bookings Required. Cost: $7.00 per class.
Classes held weekly, at The Jesmond Neighbourhood Centre.
