Who is ConnectAbility?

Who we are

ConnectAbility Australia was founded in 1992 by a group of community members and families to meet the needs of people with significant disabilities.

Since then we have grown and diversified and now provide a broad range of personalised supports for children and young people through youth and family counselling and a range of services for people with disabilities. People with disabilities may choose from our community supports, NDIS support coordination, or our accommodation options. ConnectAbility customers reside throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, other Lower Hunter local government areas and on the Central Coast.

Our approach is personal, flexible and centred on the person. Whether you are a young person seeking counselling or are a person with a disability looking to achieve goals and dreams ConnectAbility will work with you and, should you choose, those closest to you to ensure you achieve your goals.
