Empowering people to achieve their goals, dreams, and aspirations.

Our Mission

ConnectAbility offer well established disability services, focusing on the strengths and abilities of individuals and connecting people with their communities.
ConnectAbility are registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and can support you in finding the disability services you need.

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme was launched in July 2013 to provide Disability Services to people with a disability, their families and careers.

The NDIS is the largest government reform that has been implemented in decades and marks important changes being made by the Federal Government to disability services in Australia.

The aim of the scheme is to deliver a life-long approach to supporting people with a permanent and significant disability that is funded individually so people can receive the care, supports and Disability Services based on their individual needs, goals and aspirations.

The NDIS gives people more choice and control over how, when and where your supports are provided, and gives you certainty you will receive the support you need over your lifetime.

The funds provided for each person is based on an assessment of their individual needs for what is currently required and for their future development and ongoing well-being. The NDIS is based on an insurance model, where the costs associated with a person’s support needs is shared among the wider population.
